Pronoun is a word
used in the place of noun to avoid repetition of the noun.
Examples: Ali is a
good boy. Ali reads in class 5th. Ali is the toper of the Ali’s
class.
In the above paragraph Ali is the noun,
which is repeated again and again. To avoid this repetition, it could be
written as: Ali is a good boy. He reads in class 5th. He is the
toper of his class.
Here ‘he’ is pronoun
which is used in the place on noun. There are three types of pronouns.
i.
First person
ii.
Second person
iii. Third person.
Each type has many
cases. Those are subjective, possessive, objective and reflexive.
